Behind the brand

Palmio is a family business created in 2014 by Guiomar Ozores and Guiomar Fernández-Castaño, mother & daughter. We design everything in Madrid, we produce in various parts of Spain and we sell all over the world. We are timeless, we are ethical, we are sustainable, we are the new luxury.

It has been difficult for us to find the dream-team that we have now. Try and failure.

We love working with small family businesses in Spain, putting names to faces. Sharing our success with them. We do not have intermediaries.

It is increasingly difficult to find artisans as the new generations are not taking over, as many brands choose to produce in Asia. That is why we are proud to employ these families. Thanks to you.

The name comes from a play on words between palm trees and the possession of a precious commodity. We like how it sounds, we like how memorable it is. We really love our name.

After so many years we have had several rebrandings, to adapt the brand to the evolution of the company, which began by selling to four friends and is now a benchmark in the craft sector. We have been growing the brand organically, evolving, but staying true to ourselves. That has resulted in a brand with a timeless character.

Palmio was founded in 2014 by Guiomar Ozores and Guiomar Fernández-Castaño, mother and daughter. The nearly 30-year age difference has helped them create pieces that speak for themselves. According to them, this section is unnecessary, since the true description of what Palmio is is in the products.

From day one we have spent countless hours searching for the best leather for each of our products. If we had to summarize the reason for working with leather, it is clearly because of how it ages. We love that over time each piece adapts to the use of its owner, making it unique.
